Starting positions for the day will be randomly drawn from one bag on a first-come, first-served basis by all teams.

Can I weigh a dead fish?
All our tournaments are catch, weigh and release events.
Any team presenting a fish to the weigh master that is regarded as “dead” will be penalised with a 1000 gram (per dead fish) which will be deducted from the team’s total bag weight.

May I use multiple lures?
Rigs like the double rig where multiple lures / baits are attached to one main line are not allowed, except for commercial available “Alabama” rigs restricted to a maximum of five wires with a maximum five spinners, five lures and three hooks. (Single, or treble hooks each count as one hook.)

Who qualifies for the “Team-of-the-Year” title?
The top three teams in each region (six anglers) will compete during the Cast-for-Cash National Championship for the “Team-of-the-Year” award. If there are less than ten teams on the regional log then only the top (one) team qualify.
